Ikea has unveiled a new gaming-focused collection of furniture that will come out in September 2024.

Meet BRÄNNBOL, the name for a new collection of gaming-focused furniture made by Ikea. The line–featuring 20 items, such as an ergonomic chair, wall-mounted cabinet, and multifunctional basket–is planned to become available to buy from the Swedish company this September.

A major theme for BRÄNNBOLL is ensuring that not only does the furniture fit the needs of playing video games, but that the pieces also are functional for the regular goings-on of life. Ikea noted that this collection is full of “vibrant colors,” which can be seen in the gallery below, instead of “darker-tone aesthetics” that can sometimes be associated with gaming.

“With BRÄNNBOLL, we are embracing the idea that gaming is for everyone and belongs everywhere in the home,” said Ikea product design developer Philip Dilé in a press release. “It’s about making it simple for people to create spaces that adapt to gaming, living, and everything in between.”

One specific BRÄNNBOLL item that sounds intriguing is an inflatable chair. Ikea has a long history with inflatable furniture that it’s chronicled over the years. No prices have been given yet to the pieces that are a part of the collection.

Meanwhile, earlier this month, GameSpot compiled a group of affordable gaming desks and chairs. None of these options will break the bank, as they don’t go for more than $200. In fact, one seat costs only $30 in this list.
