Autojosh brings you comparison of the performance of the entry-level Urus S and the all-new 2025 Urus SE , the latter which arrived this week as the first hybrid plug-in version of the Lamborghini Super SUV.

Compared to the Urus S, the Urus SE features a new design as well as “two hearts” – a twin-turbo 4.0 V8 engine plus an electric powertrain – a plug-in hybrid system which churns out incredible figures that makes the SE the most powerful Urus ever and the fastest production car in the Super SUV category.

But how does the all-new 2025 Lamborghini Urus SE Plug-in Hybrid Super SUV compares to the entry-level Lamborghini Urus S in terms of performance?

Engine
The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 develops 611 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque while a permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor adds 189 hp and 356 lb-ft for a total power output of 789 hp and a total torque of 700 lb-ft of torque.

By comparison, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 puts out 666-horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque in the standard Urus S.

0-62 mph
The Urus SE can sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds (Urus S in 3.5 seconds) and from 0 to 200 km/h (0-124 mph) in just 11.2 seconds (Urus S in 12.5 seconds).

Top-speed
The Urus SE will reach a top speed of 312 km/h (194 mph) while the Urus S tops out at 305 km/h (189 mph). With the 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery-pack, the Urus SE will go 37 miles of EV range and reach a top speed of 84 mph at EV Drive mode.

Driving Modes
In addition to the existing six driving modes on the Urus S, the Urus SE also gets four (4) new Electric Performance modes : EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge options.

The four new modes joins Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes (for road and track use), and the Neve, Sabbia, and Terra modes (for surfaces with a different grip than asphalt) for a total of eleven options.

Pricing?
Without any options, the Urus SE starts at $258,000, excluding taxes and deliveries while the entry-level 2024 Urus S is priced from $235,000 – though both are still cheaper than the Urus Performante, which starts at over $265,000.
