Ivanka Trump announced the news and posted pictures of her new puppy joining the family on Instagram.
She clarified in the text of the photo that Simba is a rescue and included some information about his condition before adoption. She stated, “A couple of weeks ago we brought Simba, our big-hearted and goofy German Shepherd-Lab mix, home from Big Dog Ranch Rescue,”
“This little warrior puppy was found abandoned and emaciated alongside a highway in Alabama.”
Trump then shared some pictures of her family’s other animals, including their white dog, Winter, and Chester, the hamster they recently got. “Simba becomes the new addition to the household, joining Winter and Chester, two more furry friends. Simba, welcome to the gang!”
The post consists of a number of pictures, one of which features Simba posing with Trump, her husband Jared Kushner, and their children Joseph, Theodore, and Arabella.
Additional pictures capture the moment Trump and Joseph brought Simba out of the shelter, with her youngest child, Theodore, clinging to Chester.
In late October, Ivanka Trump celebrated her 42nd birthday. During her birthday party, she posted a few family images that captured her family having a great time on their just completed renovations at their new Miami house.
The mansion is situated on Indian Creek Island in Miami, a community well-known for its affluent residences and celebrity residents that include Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos, and Tom Brady.
