The hotel has undergone an extensive £10 million (11 674 100€) refurbishment to become the Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood. Located in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town, the refurbished hotel is now aligned with Marriott standards.

The Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood has 160 rooms, including junior suites, deluxe rooms and king rooms. Art and design elements pay homage to the local art scene.

The hotel has a refurbished lobby, the Greatroom, which is the focal point of the hotel. This space includes a bar and dining room.

The hotel’s wellness facilities have also been refurbished and include a spa and fitness centre with a 14-metre heated pool, infrared sauna and gym.

The hotel offers fully equipped meeting facilities and a lounge, the Marriott M Club, reserved for Elite members only.

“The relaunch of Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood is an exciting development for the City and the Marriott brand. It is incredible to see the refurbishment nearing completion; bringing the aesthetic of the property and quality of service up to Marriott standards is testament to the hotel team’s hard work and commitment to take the Hotel on the next stage of its journey. Edinburgh is such a vibrant city bursting with history and culture, we’re looking forward to welcoming our new and returning guests to enjoy an elevated and enriched Marriott experience with all that the city has to offer.” – Michael Falla, General Manager of Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood
