The zombie subgenre has always been popular, and anime series such as ‘Tokyo Ghoul’ and ‘Seoul Station’ have brought some unique takes on the horror genre’s most famous undead trope. Another zombie anime is about to join the ranks, but it isn’t like any other zombie movie you’ve ever seen.
In zombie films, the undead are a relentless threat to the living, especially the protagonist. However, in this series, things are a bit different. Our main character is immune to zombie attacks and doesn’t see the need to fight back; instead, he acts according to his desires.
Rokuro Uraji’s ‘Zombie no Arureta Sekai de Ore Dake ga Osowarenai’ light novel series will inspire a television anime adaptation. The third volume of the comic is scheduled to be released on February 5, 2024.
There is currently no additional information about the novel’s release date, cast, staff, or production studio. However, we anticipate that this information will be made available soon.
The novel was ranked as the number one submission on Nocturne Novels before publishing. The unusual behavior of several characters within the novel generated significant discussion on the web.
A manga was created based on it, but it received mixed reviews. While some people liked the depth of the plot and thought the characters’ reactions were somewhat realistic, others didn’t like how the story relied on Takemura’s immunity to zombies.
As for the anime, we don’t have any information about the animation quality or character design. We’ll have to wait for the trailer’s release to learn more.
